Spring Awakening: Ilse & Moritz

Here goes my FAVORITE scene in Spring Awakening The Musical... This was John Gallagher Jr. and Lauren Pritchard's version of Moritz and Ilse

[Don't Do Sadness]

Ilse: Moritz Stiefel?
Moritz: Ilse? You frigthened me
I: Did you lose something?
M: Why did you frighten me? Damn it.
I: What are you looking for?
M: If only I knew
I: What's the use of looking? I'm on my way home. Want to come?
M: I don't know. Where have you been keeping yourself?
I: Priapia, the artist's colony
M: Yes
I: All those old buggers, Moritz, are so wild, so bohemian. All they wanna to do is dress me up and paint me. That Johann Ferendorf, he is a wicked one, actually. Always knocking easels down and chasing me, dabbing me with his paintbrush. But then again that's men if they can't stick you with one thing they'll try another. Oh god Moritz, the other day we all got so drunk, I passed out in the snow. I just laid there unconsious all night! You know, I spent an entire week with Nohl, inhaling that ether of his then this morning he woke me, with a gun! set against my breast. One twitch he said and it's the end, really gave me the shivers, i tell you. But how about you Moritz? Still in school?
M: Well this semester, I'm through.
I: God, you remember how we used to run back to my house and play pirates? Wendla Bergmen, Melchior Gabor, you, and I?

[Blue Wind]

M: Actually, I better go
I: Walk as far as my house with me
M: and?
I: We’ll dig up those old tomahawks and play together, Moritz, just like we used to
M: We did have some remarkable times. Hiding in our wigwam
I: Yes. I'll brush your hair, curl it, set you on my little hobby horse
M: I wish I could.
I: Now, why don't you?
M: 80 lines of Virgil, 16 equations, a paper on the Hapsburgs.

[Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind Mash-Up]

M: Good night Ilse.
I: Good night?
M: Virgil… the equations… remember?
I: Just for an hour.
M: I can’t.
I: Walk me at least.
M: Honestly, I wish I could.
I: You know, by the time you finally wake up, I’ll be lying on some trash heap.

[Ilse Leaves]

M: For the love of God, all I had to do was say yes! ILSE? ILSE! So, what will I say? I’ll tell them all… the angels, I got drunk in the snow, and sang, and played pirates. Yes, I’ll tell them. I’m ready now. I’ll be an angel. Ten minutes ago you could see the entire horizon. Now, only sparks, see? shooting stars… So dark… so dark… so dark.

--

I'm such a sucker for this part... I can watch this and listen to this over and over again. That mash up is really the best! :) This was the part that made me love the character of Ilse and want to kill Moritz myself... hahaha! I like how Ilse is so free spirited and wild at the same time, well not as smart as Melchior (with all that Nohl thing) but also not as naive as Wendla. And Lauren Pitchard killed that Blue Wind song. hahaha!

On the other hand... here's stupid Moritz! Now he just proved us all that he really is stupid... giving up and taking his own life... How stupid can he really get? (I used a lot of STUPID in there didn't I?). Good thing John Gallagher Jr. is a good singer and he nailed the song as well. LOL.

All in all... I just love SA... It is my dream to watch Lea and John and Jonathan and Lauren and the rest of the cast on stage and LIVE with this piece... Sater and Sheik really made a big time, awesome and a true Tony worth rock musical. They really deserve all those Tonys! Ah! Love love love SA...!

PS. I really can't watch Hanschen doing that 'thing' though... hahaha! Him doing Ernst was more tolerable :)

PSS. Thank you Frank Wedekind! LOL.

Avalon High (Movie - 2010)

Screw Plot Alteration!

I really loved the book which maybe why I am kinda disappointed with the movie. I loved everything about how Meg wrote it. I love how Will was King Arthur and how Allie was his Lady of the Lake. (It was really romantic! yeah yeah yeah... me and my crazy romance antics...) The relationship between Will and Lance and Jen weren't really shown that much in the movie. I don't think that I am biasing on this part since i think it's true! Lance is Will's bestfriend yet they only had a couple of scenes together... is that really your bestfriend Will? I mean... Lance and Jen were a big part of the story yet they seemed like extras in the movie! WTH!

I was also looking forward on seeing Allie floating all the time... and yet knowing that she is King Arthur (which is kinda stupid... still can't believe that they made that twist!), those floating parts were thrown out into the ocean since she is not the Lady of the Lake! AHHH! It's frustrating... I really think Allie floating all the time and her mom always onto her about it is kinda more interesting than knowing that Arthur can be reincarnated as a girl... (screw feminism! I am a female and yet I think it's stupid!)

AND! I think the yacht scene is much more FUN than having Marco be all goody-goody and a part of the Order of the Bear...

Anyway... I do am having so-so feelings with Miles... I kinda think having those psychic powers were cool. Allie having a friend was what the book missed out or not... she was friends with Will... and speaking of being friends with Will... I also want the part where Will barged into her house and stand on the boulder where a spider was on and just looking at Allie floating! See! The floating parts were awesome! hahaha. Yeah... I love the floating parts... because of Allie's floater, I want a floater as well. AHH!

AHH! (again.) Frustrating... but what the heck! I am not disney or the director or the writer... but still I AM FRUSTRATED WITH IT and I'm giving it a 1.5/5 well maybe 2/5... i love the final battle effects hahaha!

Pasta

after watching review (posted @ dramabeans' open thread):

i just finished watching PASTA… and it was… uhm.. fluffy. hahaha. if to describe it in one world… FLUFF… lol. fluff all the way… hahaha… its a light drama that wont go into the deeper conflicts that could have happen if it was not a romcom (like having President become the SILENT CACTUS KILLER who will fight for his three year hidden love for maknae… or have LITTLE MISS GINSENG PASTA DESTROYER become the villain that everyone would hate…) but comon who would hate such a lovely face that is very considerate and such a weakling-when-it-comes-to-chep even though she’s an arrogant little missy? hehe.

but all in all… i love it… i’ve always wanted a love story that is so loyal from start till end. though i was quite unsure of the ending… hahaha… i kind of wanted to know yoo kyung’s new stove position… LOL.

I love the Italian Team! hahaha. hot and cute guys! LOL.

Paul Freeman - Tightrope

Tightrope Lyrics

by: Paul Freeman

i don’t wanna wait too long
and i don’t wanna break it down
the sun is sinking just like stone
and its hard to for me to breath
my mind is missing pieces of you
and fear and the pain have gone
but i’ll keep holdin’ holdin’

and im higher before than ive ever been
i was walking a tightrope can’t you see
that nobody wants to be alone
i was walking a tightrope
(walking a tightrope)
can you catch me?

if i let go
as far as i can see
the world is turning out of time
your gravity will pull me close
and its all ill ever need
don’t let me fall and break in two
cus all we are are skin and bones
so just keep holdin’
just keep holdin’ on

and im higher before than ive ever been
i was walking a tightrope can’t you see
that nobody wants to be alone
i was walking a tightrope
can you catch me?

if i let go
theres no way back
if i let go
your where i land
so here i go
cus i just wanna live
and i just wanna feel it

i just wanna feel it

and im higher before than ive ever been
i was walking a tightrope can’t you see
that nobody wants to be alone
i was walking a tightrope
can you catch me?
if i let go

I Love This Song! If i got addicted with Dashboard Confessional's Belle of the Boulevard because of One Tree Hill, I am going to be addicted with Paul Freeman's Tightrope because of the season finale of Make it or Break it. hahaha! Yeah. This song was featured on the last part of the season finale entitled "Are We Family?". Damon Young (Johnny Pacar) "sang" this song, well, based on my sources, it was lip synced. Oh well, this doesn't change the fact that I am falling for Johnny's role as Damon. hahaha! He's still awesome!

Selena Gomez will star on Monte Carlo!

Yayy! Another Selena movie to look forward to! Ramona and Beezus is on the way and another one is on the makes! I'm so happy for Sel, she's my favorite Disney Star now. I hate the fact that she and Demi are no longer friends... and to think they're both dating Nick and Joe, respectively now! hahaha. (Im assuming at Sel and Nick are an item but Demi already admitted that she and Joe are dating! So I'll just stick with my statement for the fun of it. :p)

Okay, Im going out of topic. Hahaha. Monte Carlo, that's the title of Selena's soon to be movie. And she's going to be starring with Leighton Meester! What are the odds? Two of my fave TV stars on one movie! :) I just hope this project pushes through. I'm definitely going to watch it.

article source/credits: Just Jared Jr.

Make it or Break it INSANITY! :)

i'll shout this to the entire world! im freaking out! I need the next episode for Make it or break it! Ah! the best season finale ever! For me, it topped OTH's season 5 finale (Lucas' Phonecall :p). I can't get over with what I just saw! CARTER CHOSE LAUREN! that is soo freaking great! ahhh! ahhh! ahhh! ahhh! (ahhh! x infinity) I love Kaylie but she's waaayyy too late! And I was freaking right! Carter was falling in love with Lau! ahhh! ahhh! ahhh! They are perfect for each other. Now, I really don't know what will happen to Kay and Lau's friendship but I don't care... CARTER CHOSE LAUREN! hahaha! yeah... i'll never get tired of saying that... they are like my favorite couple in this series! :p

And I soooo LOVE JOHNNY PACAR who plays DAMON! He's awesome and has a freaking great voice... i know I have been against him from the start but I am rooting for him and Em now. hihihi! And another freaking AHHH! Payson on bars! yayy! finally she's able to overcome her fear! I can't wait for her to steal Kaylie's title on the next championships! hahaha! She deserves her gold medal!

As for Kaylie... uhm. no comment. She blew her chances with Carter so she should suffer. But I hope she gets more endorsements and medals... that all she wants right?! ugh. I so hate her this episode but at the same time I like her hahaha... (yeah. im insane...) she's still the best... well next to Pay... LOL.

OMG. I freaking cried! hahaha! And I'm soo happy. I'm having mixed emotions for this. RAWR! hahaha! yeah. this is MIOBI InSaNiTy! :p

Movies Update!

Well, for the past week, I've had my share of movie marathons. Hahaha! And here are the movies that I've watched:

1.) Zombieland - a gross movie! hahaha! but it was funny and witty. I adore the characters and most especially got grossed out with the zombies! hahaha... but it was fun imagining myself (after the movie) being in zombieland. hahaha! but i want to be with Witchita and Little Rock and those two guys! hahaha! Rating: 4.5/5.0

2.) Love Happens - not really made a mark on me but it was a light movie. A very feel-good one. But I love Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart in this movie... they have chemistry :) Rating: 3.0/5.0

3.) Management - I kinda find this a boring movie. :( I made many pauses while watching this. hahaha! And in between pauses, I was able to watch other movies without cuts hahaha! But as usual Jen was awesome... and Steve Zahn was... how do I put this... stalkerish? hahaha... If ever I am on Jen's place... I would be scared shit of him! hahaha! But I think that was what was required in the movie and if it is... he succeeded! :) Rating: 2.8/5.0

4.) Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs - The movie that made me go hungry after! hahaha! I like the animation. It was polished. And the drawings of foods were cute. hahaha! I like the story too. Fit for an imaginative kid to watch :) 3.6/5.0

5.) Aliens in the Attic - cute movie. hahaha. I love Ashley. She's still my dear Sharpay but a little nicer. hahaha! And the kids were awesome as well. I love the story and those little aliens were so cute! :) Rating: 3.9/5.0

6.) Whip It! - I had fun watching this. When I found out that Drew Barrymore directed this, i kinda loved her more. hahaha! So I'm going to disagree with Grammer Spencer/Casey Cartwright(Greek) that Drew and directing don't go together. :p And Ellen Page was awesome! hahaha! I really love her pokerface. I also like the sport that they played. I would like to try it someday :) Rating: 4.1/5.0

7.) Fired Up! - the typical cheer flick... Could be the daughter of Bring it on series. hahaha! They even have a scene where the cheerleaders were watching Eliza Dushku and Kristen Dunst! hahaha! I was LOLed in that part. Obsessed cheerleaders! I was also amazed with the cameos of TV stars like Francia Raisa, Amber Stevens, Kayla Ewell and of course for the lead stars there's Daneel Harris and Annalyne Mccord! :) Rating: 4.0/5.0 (I just love cheer flicks! :p)

8.) Post Grad - oohh! the scariest movie in this list of movies I've watched recently. Hahahaha! Not because it's a suspense movie ('coz it's not!) but because I am scared for my own life after college. Alexis made me feel like I could never be successful in life. hahahaha! She's all perfect grades while I am not and she didn't get a job after college! What would that make me now? hahaha! But I've moved on (with this movie) and I'll just try my best to succeed in life :) The movie is kinda-real to life so it made a good impression on me despite making me scared for my future. Rating: 4.7/5.0

9.) Major Movie Star - A major blonde movie! If you hate dumb blondes... skip this one. But I love dumb blondes... hahaha so i liked it. The script wasn't that great and witty but the cast were still able to deliver their supposed to be roles. hahaha! I adore Olesya Rulin in this movie. I kinda missed Kelsi and seeing her in her role in the movie kinda made me miss HSM less :) She's still the Kelsi I know... clumsy yet full of potential, , but her name isn't Kelsi anymore hahaha! :) Jessica was still the same... I think she was better in Employee of the Month. :) But I like her here as well... :) She made me respect dumb blonde movies more. hahaha! Rating: 3.2/5.0

10.) The Spy Next Door - Jackie Chan is one heck of a great stunt person. Because of this movie I kinda missed Spy Kids and Agent Cody Banks. kekeke! I love watching spy movies... it always make me wonder what a spy life would be like... :) The story was kinda cliche... kids + soon-to-be-stepfather + mom who chooses kids over love + the action... but still it is worth the time :) And its funny and witty as well! Rating: 4.0/5.0

11.) UP - I had high expectations on this film. Unfortunately, like Enchanted, it didn't met my expectations. Maybe it's the fact that I am so amazed by the reviews about this film that when I finally watched it months after, my expectation is already so high that it wasn't able to reach such expectations. I enjoyed it, though. And I cried at the end. I think that just signified that even though I wasn't that thrilled by it, it still made a mark in my brain. That once I encounter 'scouting', Russell would come to my mind first. :) I also admire the love that Carl and Ellie had. Awh. Rating: 3.9/5.0

Kim Yuna: First Korean Figure Skater To Win An Olympic Gold!

My added addiction! Figure Skating! Yayy! All thanks to The Cutting Edge Series! hahaha.

Kim Yuna. South Korea. Newest Olympic Champion for Ladies' Singles Skating. She was a phenom! Her short program was perfect! She even beat her own record at the Worlds 2009 with a score of 78.50. Then she topped her Worlds final score with 228.56 points. Her long program was breathtaking. If you are new to figure skating, i mean watching such programs, you would think that each performance is the same, no difference, only the routine itself. But what made me say that Yuna was exceptional at my first time of watching figure skating is that once you watch her, her spirals and triples have this flowing effect, like it is effortless. Its beautiful to watch. And her triples are perfect, once she twists, its with the perfect form and its great to look at.

Yes. I adore this 1990-born girl (my birth year too!). Not only because she is a korean and I'm into korean stuff as of the moment, but because among all the reigning figure skating athletes now (eg. Mao Asada, Joannie Rochette), she is the best. :) She's the world's number 1!

Im so looking forward for her 2010 World Championships. Im sure she's gonna do wonders there as well. :)

Stars Falling From The Sky Episode 13 & 14

My favorite EPISODES! yayy! And hatest as well!

Let's start with the bad ones so we could end with the best ones :) First off, who invented VILLAINS in dramas? They are such a pain in the ass! I oh-so hate that Jae Young! She's a pathetic little bitch. Can't she get that Kang Ha doesn't like her? She's the most stupid character in the entire world of characters! (See? Because of my hatred towards her, I come to a point now that I am creating stupid thoughts! Damn that girl!) She should die. I hope she does. Well, not the person but the character! She is so freaking evil! Rawr! I hate her. Even the mere sight of her makes me sick. Add her mother up and they are like a big freaking explosion of evilness set to sail to the fiery place called hell. (Yeah. I hate them so much. I am so affected! haha)

The younger uncle has already pissed me off as well. I really don't know what his deal is but he seems pretty pathetic to me as well. Giving away the love of his life and acting like he is happy for her that she's getting married to his own HYUNG?! Are you freaking kidding me Joon Ha? You're even using Pal Kang for your quest to 'the way to love a person who doesn't love you back is to not love her back'! Seems pretty coward to me. And because of him Kang Ha is suffering! Ugh. I hate such scenes where the protagonist gets all martyr! (But i still love Kang Ha! LOL)

Tae Gyu is starting to get on my nerves as well. He's not funny anymore. But I can still tolerate.

Now. Onto to the best part. Parang! He's the best kid ever! He's so cute and he's so sweet! I love his scenes with Kang Ha. They're like father-son to me. :) I hope they stay the same... but as what I saw in the preview... Kang Ha will start to isolate himself again. (Going back to cursing Jae Young! ARGH!)

I love the amusement park and supermarket scenes! They were like a one big happy family! hahaha! Kang Ha and Pal Kang had a moment there. I also love that girl in the hotdog stand. hahaha! She was nosey but her words were music to my ears :)

I love love love the part where Pal Kang caught Joon Ha and he's show. Ha! That was pretty amazing. But what scared me was Joon Ha falling totally for Pal Kang! That shouldn't happen. I'll kill that guy! Hmph!

Best parts... KANG HA and PAL KANG! obviously. I love every minute of them together. They are like wife and husband bickering. Hahaha! I also like the part when Kang Ha was beaten and Pal Kang and Parang were taking care of him. That was their best moment... the bickering! LOL. (In your face Joon Ha! Pal Kang will never shout at y0u! :p) I also love that part where Kang Ha hugged Pal Kang and said those sweet words about him not knowing what to do with her and his feelings for her (well the 'feelings for her' part i think was my imagination! hahaha!). I just love these two! I can't wait for them to finally be together or at least reveal their feelings for each other.

Now to end this... I'm going to sum everything in a sentence. I LOVE STARS FALLING FROM THE SKY :)

awh. 6 episodes left... i hope they get to extend... oh well... if not, I'm excited for the ending anyway! :)

RATING: a big fat 5.0/5.0

A Good Day For The Wind To Blow Episode 1-2

Eunnie! I have been looking forward to watching this because it stars one of my most favorite korean actress now :) So Eun! yayy! I would have loved it more if she was paired with Kim Bum, but oh well at least I get to see her on a show and Bummie on another show :)

The first 2 episodes were fun and light. I really didn't find it that great since it's my first time to watch a korean 'sitcom' or a mini series. Im much into full time/16-episode dramas. But we'll see maybe in the future, i'll get used to their kind of setting.

But So Eun is great as usual. She may have a poor/homeless role but she pulled it off. Its kind of new to me that she is that POOR because in BOF, she is poor but it doesn't look like it because she still dresses nicely and she looks rich despite working on a soup shop. Her acting is getting better and better. And I love her being feisty, it suits her. I like her chemistry with that guy who attempted to suicide but I think So Eun's character is destined for the guy's brother which I think is better since I like the suicidal guy to be with the boyish friend and So Eun with the successful brother :)

I still really don't know the other characters but the character who made a good first impression on me is the sister who is dating the rich kid that is a playboy. I love her! hahaha! I love that scene where she acted pregnant and her tummy moved, it was hilarious!

I'm looking forward for more of this show. :)

Starting with this blog, im going to start rating :) hahaha!

FOR THESE EPISODES: 4.1/5.0

Survivor Season 20: Heroes Vs. Villains Episode 1&2

Every scene of the first episode made me LOVE this series more and more. First episodes are first impressions of shows. I see these first episodes as make or break. When first episodes are great, viewers will watch out for the next but if it is otherwise, it can be two things, 'since I looked forward for this series, i'm going to forgive the writer of the first episode and continue to watch' OR 'damn. I wasted my time waiting for this series to air, I'm never going to watch it!'. Well, as for Heroes vs Villains, it is great!

The new season have all of my most favorite season players like Russell, Steph, Rupert, JT and Boston Rob. (Sadly, Amber isn't around to take care of the baby but if she was, I think this season is going to be a blast! hahaha!) And on the first episode, they made it fascinating by having a shoulder dislocated and returned back (for Steph), a toe broken (for Rupert), a first day scheming (for Russell) and just by being there since I know they're going to make the season more interesting (for Rob and JT! hahaha!).

As for the others, Parvati, Cirie and Amanda intrigued me so I'm going to watch their previous season and how these three turned out to be a Hero or a Villain. It was also funny seeing Coach again, he and his craziness, but he seems lighter this time around, I think he's now playing the game (finally! hahaha!). But his thing for Jerri is quite annoying hahaha! Well, that's Coach!

The second episode was a long awaited for me since the editors decided to give me a heart-stopping preview, Boston Rob and the Medical Team. Damn. hahaha! Good thing he came to his senses because I will be really pissed off if he got out of the game because of medical reasons. I want Rob to finally win. hahaha! Yeah, I'm a big ROMBER fan! :)

So, like the first episode, the second episode made me enjoy the show and the game itself. They recreated a Tocantins game and for the second time, the Villains won the immunity challenge! In terms of the winning, I really don't know which team to side on since both of the teams have my favorites so whoever wins, I don't care just as long as my favorites are still alive. But sad to say, Steph is the second to go just because of shouting at the game. Oh well, it's the game. But she is the strongest among the girls! What were they thinking? And with that, I hated James not only because he started the fire to kick Steph out of the game but because of all that crap about Steph being the problem since she lost all of her team mates in her previous season. Well, it was strategy and I get it, it's just sad to see one of my favorites to go.

Now, I'm excited for Thursday since it's another HvV episode! :) Probst, this better be good. Hahaha!

Update!

Shucks... its been a long time since I updated :( Well... since I've watched many and updated my blog less... I'll just have simple comments on all of the shows/movies I've watched so far... hahaha!

1.) 500 Days of Summer - finally! I was able to watch this movie! I downloaded this from torrent last December and only watched it this February! hahaha! I love it. It was bittersweet and I kind of feel bad for Tom but I kinda see the point of the entire movie because of the ending. Its not a love story... as what the introduction said but it is a lesson for a future perfect love story. My favorite scene was definitely the ending, meeting Autumn. I am a sucker for happy endings.

2.) Stars Falling From The Sky (Episode 3-12) - this story is getting better and better everytime :) The kids are still adorable and FINALLY! The Lawyer is starting to fall for PalKang :) What I hate is the fact the the younger uncle is using PalKang just so he can secure Kang Ha for the girl that he loves. Over martyr-ness? What happened to the lovable uncle? He's so blinded with his love for Jae Young. Why don't he just simply pursue her and not give her away? Argh!

And im freaking excited on PalKang and KangHa's next endeavors. Now that Kang Ha wants Pal Kang and the kids to stay longer. Im freaking psyched! (but as of the moment. I am bummed since there would be no episodes this week because of the olympics! huhuhu. I can't wait on how Pal Kang reacts to the lawyer's proposal... ahhh!)

And I also want to stress that my most favorite scene was when lawyer won stayed up late and saw Pa Rang walking towards his bed and he opened his bed for him to sleep on. It was so heartwarming! Kang Ha is now letting his guard down so I just hope nothing will crush it soon. (Now I'm kind of regretting saying what I just said because of Jae Young and Kang Ha's mother. I might jinx it... hahaha!)

3.) One Tree Hill Season 7 (Episode 14-16) - Clay and Quinn! Yayy! They are so adorable. And I like the fact that Quinn is really over David and now David is ready to let go of Quinn!
I really love this series since I grew up with this series so it bums me that my favorite character all throughout those 7 years isn't still getting her happy ending (Brookie! Hold On! Your time will come... I can feel it!) and she's still suffering. I just hope that Julian won't stop saying 'I Miss You' to Brooke. :) And I'm loving Julian's Alex and hating Brooke's Alex. Hahaha! Julian's Alex is doing everything to bring Julian and Brooke together but Brooke's Alex is ruining it. I just hope the accented guy would stop and just move on to another girl.
Naley. Still the loveliest couple ever written! hahaha! I can't help but get mesmerized on how they got to where they are now. I just hope that Haley gets pregnant before her mother dies. I think that would really make her mother happy. The episode of Lydia telling her girls about her cancer was really a heart wrenching one. I just hope that Taylor returns to Tree Hill, get over her rebellious personality and help take care of her mother. I guess that's the least that she can do.
I am loving Miranda and Grubbs! hahaha! They are IN A RELATIONSHIP now! LOL!
Mouth is still a sweetheart. I just hope Millie gets to realize that before she loses the man who loved and still loves her for who ever she was and is being now. I am kind of sensing a connection between Mouth and Lauren but I just hope I'm wrong because I want Skills to return and Lauren and Skills are adorable together :)
Bitch-toria is no bitch anymore! Hahaha! I love that she is doing everything to be a mother to Brooke. I love her for that because Brooke is already too broken(with all the 'cant have baby thing') and a bitch-toria on her heels is too much.
Jamie. Still ADORABLE. Period. hahaha!
Chuck. I really don't know if he's a good kid or not. Jamie's friend or not. Hahaha! I'm confused with his personality. But ohwell. What the heck, it's Chuck! hahaha!

4.) Ghosts of Girlfriends Past - I love this movie! hahaha! Hilarious and heartwarming at the same time. Romantic and family-oriented. If you want to watch a feel good movie... this is the movie to watch. Not really chick-flickish since it has a good script and has sense! hahaha! Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey has good chemistry. (P.S. This made me cry!)

5.) First Time (Week 1) - A series in the Philippines starring Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio. I can't believe that these two kids can make my heart flutter. hahaha! They have good chemistry. Their acting aren't that great but I think in the near future, they can level to the natural and great actors and actresses of my generation like Heart Evangelista, Kaye Abad, Richard Gutierrez and John Lloyd Cruz :) The story is quite exaggerated for their age but I think they can get this series through and especially with the help of a great director Director Andoy Ranay.

6.) Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Episode 2-4) - Kyohei and Sunako!♥ Kyohei is starting to have mixed emotions for Sunako but he has to deny it since he doesn't want to simply fall in love and with a girl like Sunako (i think! hahaha!). I was really hoping that the reason he was having those sad emotions was because Sunako was getting married, but he has to say that it was that he missed Sunako's Japanese Cooking. Damn. He really has to crush my hopes on him falling for Sunako soon. hahaha! Oh well. Atleast there's going to be more Sunako-Kyohei fight scenes and make-up scenes hahaha!

Make It Or Break It Season 1 Chapter 2

Three episodes of MIOBI had pass and it keeps getting better and better. As of the moment, its on its 14th episode. Nationals are over and Kaylie is already the national champion; Payson has to go to high school while Emily still has to know the benefits and misfits of being part of the national team. And there's Lauren, still the bitch but also still the best friend. I love how the story is so different from other teenage dramas made in the US because The Rock doesn't have the cliches of cliques and queen bees. Well, except now that Payson has to go to a high school, but still the main point of the show is still gymnastics. I think that's the reason why I really got hooked with this show. Its different and it shows me another kind of life, a life of an athlete in the career of gymnastics.

As the show progresses, I have my own people to love and hate and pairs to hope for and relationships that I really don't want to happen. And they are as follows:

-Kaylie and Nicky: a major no no! Yeah they look good together and their story is the cat-dog style that I like, but it didn't overpower my want for Nicky to be with Payson. At the end of Chapter 1 and during the start of the second chapter, I saw the potential there. And we're talking about Payson Keeler here! She's the naive to the real world yet the ambitious girl who would never think of ever having a boyfriend. But I think that the writers are going to push Kalicky... I guess I just have to deal with that.

-Razr, Emily and Damon: actually I'm torn. hahaha! At first I wanted Razr and Emily but since Razr left, Damon was there. During the time that Emily and Damon have been developing with each other, there is this part of me that wants Razr back because I'm also a sucker for first love pairings. I have this tendency to love a pair that was each others first. But when Razr came back and Emily and Damon were all over each other already, I was torn because believe it or not, I fell in love with Emily and Damon being together. Ugh. I hate this torn thing. So whoever Emily chooses I'm going to be happy for her.

-Lauren and Carter: i want them together. Actually from the start, I wanted Lauren for Carter. Kaylie's too cute and childish for Carter. And I think the story is leaning on them now. I saw Carter smiling at Lauren's routine during the Openhouse and that just indicated that he is warming up to her. And besides he is able to talk to Lauren regarding his crisis with financial and family wise which he can't or i think didn't ever did with Kaylie since all they did was sneak out and make out. And all that Kaylie did was vent out her problems on Carter which Lauren never did because she loves Carter that much. So I'm really hoping for a Carter and Lauren pairing soon. What worries me is Lauren and Kaylie's friendship. Even though Lauren's a bitch and Kaylie's her total opposite since she's the cute and sweet little gymnast, I still admire that they are friends and best of friends for that matter. So I would really be sad if their road to reconciliation will be destroyed and their friendship will totally end. For sure the girls, Payson and Emily, would side Kaylie which is also a bummer. Lauren's great and sweet at times too, why does she always end up second to Kaylie?

-Summer and Sasha: A big yayy! And a big no way at the same time. Yayy, since there has been some heat between them for the past episodes, well since Summer replaced Kim. And its a good heat, a lovely heat hahaha! And they look good together too and I think they are a great team for the The Rock. They would be like the power couple who runs the gym. The big no way is because of Lauren. Hahaha! I'm a big Lauren Fan. It's just Summer and Lauren already formed this mother-daughter bond, well its Lauren's fault that her dad and Summ broke up, but still that bond may be broken if Summer chooses to be with Sasha instead of Lauren's dad.

-Steve Tanner and Chloe Kmetko: What the hell?! Not really a great pair for me. I really would like them to not be together, just imagine Lauren and Emily being stepsisters! That would be a disaster. But I think, they are going to use this as part of future story arcs. If my instincts are right and they'll push through with this Steve-Chloe tandem, Emily and Lauren will have to act like sisters or in the future would be like real life sisters. That would be a rollercoaster! hahaha! And if the sister relationship between Emily and Lauren proceed, its going to be Em and Lau against Kay and Pay. hahaha! Atleast now Lauren's not going to be alone when she and Kaylie gets to end their friendship. (hahaha! what am I thinking?! LOL! Me and my thoughts!)

-Payson and Ike: Iiikeee! Eww! hahaha... I love Payson but her pathetic excuse for a friend is really getting on my nerves. The first time I saw him, he's going to be a threat to Payson and Nicky and it makes me boil! Urgh! And now he's freaking making Payson do the drugs and whatever loner emo kids do which is so not Payson. And even breaking the rules! Pay, wake up! Nicky, rescue your lady love please! hahaha... I'm a really big Nicky-Payson fan as of now and I'm going to hope until the end of this show for them to be together. Hahaha! I Promise!

-Kelly Parker: I love Nicole. I hate Kelly. hahaha!

-Marty: the hell with the National Gymnastics Team Committee! Sasha deserves the position. But I'm still looking forward for the girls to show Marty that Sasha is the best coach there is because even if they are done making Marty leave the team, I can still feel that they are going to turn to Sasha no matter what. I hope so! hahaha!

Ah! I'm hooked and I can't wait for the Valentine's episode! Sasha and Summer kissing. Who's going to the dance and with who? Emily and Damon not on speaking terms. Hahaha! Yeah I'm still hoping for a Razr moment. Actually I'm also hoping for Kaylie's big brother to come back. And say that... WAY TO GO EMILY! hahaha! Payson should wake up and get her dream back, gymnastics or not, she should be able to realize her goals and hopefully soon. I want a National Team practice too because of a 'In your face Kelly and nice to see you again Nicole' moment for me! hahaha! And more gymnastic routines.

Ah can't wait for Feb 1, 2010 in the US to come! hahaha! MIOBI rocks!

Stars Falling From The Sky Ep 2-3

I'm soo loving this series! I can't help but laugh, cry and feel sorry for everyone in it. hahaha! Its a roller coaster ride. Another hit for SBS! I love Pal Kang and her love for her siblings. Even though she's a big air head, she still has a heart and she's willing to change for her siblings and that is so heartwarming. At the same time I can't help but still laugh at her antics and stupidity. There are still no interactions between her and Kang Ha but I hope in the future their relationship will evolve hahaha! But I can feel that Joon Ha is starting to fall for Pal Kang... NO! hahaha!

Another aspect are the kids. They are so adorable and cute and at the same time, its so sad and heartbreaking to see them in such a cruel state. I was crying when Cho Rok went out of the house to save he oppa from getting caught, she was so cold and she didn't even tell her unnie that she went out of the house and she was crying and asking the heavens for them to have a house soon. It was so sad. I can't help but cry in that scene. But at the bright side, they are still so happy to watch especially when they get to make Tae gyu crazy.

Speaking of Tae Gyu. I feel sorry for him too. He's like the escape goat of Pal Kang. Well, I can't blame Pal Kang, Tae Gyu has been hard on her since she step foot inside the house but still having your uncle water you for hours and getting a cold after is so sad. I feel sorry for him but my heart still goes out to the children. So, Pal Kang, AJA! Do everything in your power to keep your siblings safe and unseen!

(my review for the episodes 2-3)

One Tree Hill S07E13 Weeks Go By Like Days

This is my favorite moment in the returning episode of One Tree Hill after their winter hiatus! hahaha! Clay ♥ Quinn! They are a perfect pair for me. I hope that they won't get a rocky start just because of David and Taylor.

I totally love the 13th episode of season 7! Even though it was a bad episode for Julian and Brooke at least it was great for my favorite Clay-Quinn and Haley-Nathan! And Jamie! hahaha! ♥ I soo envy that kid Jamie. He has like the best childhood ever! So this blog is going to be chopped per pair (my comments i mean). So here goes my episode 13 comment/s:

NALEY:
They really didn't have any story as a pair at the moment but individually, I can see they have stories to tell. As Haley ends her tour, it's going to be a start for her family's story arc, I think, as we see Taylor and David arriving in Tree Hill and living with her and Quinn (which I think is going to be a total disaster!). She has to deal with Taylor and as the sister with the most succesful marriage and family life, I think she's going to have this tendency to be the 'mediator' over Quinn and Taylor or be the bitch in Taylor's stay in Tree Hill, with their history and all. Nathan on the other hand has some making up to do on his relationship with Clay. I like that he still has this brotherly instincts on Clay and he made the first move and told Clay not to be awkward with him and still be his friend, not just an agent. I really like their friendship and I hope that they could repair it like how he was able to repair his with Lucas. With Nate, I am excited to see how he's going to do on his second season in the NBA. I hope he does well! And as for the pair part, they still have this spark that no one in the whole history of seriesville could ever replace! They only have little time together but still in every scene that they share, they can still make my heart flutter even though they are just conversing. They even have a child! hahaha! Jamie:
I love that Mark has been making story arcs for Jamie and they are amazing. And his friends are adorable! I so love Madison. hahaha! I hope in the future, when Jamie takes over the show (im assuming for more seasons!), he and Madison would be like Nathan and Haley! hahaha! LOL much!

Brulian:
I feel so bad for the both of them. First for Brooke. She has been broken for so long. Because of Peyton and Lucas. Her mom. The baby. Now she can't trust Julian because there's Alex. It's like she has this tip of a thread that is for Julian to hold but because of Alex, she can't help but make Julian release that thread because she can't have children while Alex can and she knows that the skank has eyes on Julian and Julian wants to freaking save her! So Brooke's issue is trust. Julian on the other hand has been trying so hard to mend her but isn't successful since Brooke herself is not helping herself. I can get why Julian is ready to let go of Brooke because he is not superman and he also gets tired. I really don't hate Alex because she has been trying to be strong and determined to change which is what is lacking with Brooke at the moment. That is why Julian has been happy with her and believes in her because she believes in herself. I know Brooke's strong but at this point, I think, Julian is right, they have to help themselves first before helping each other. I just hate the fact that she turned to Alexander for help. Oh well, I hope its not Chase number 2!
The parallel thing with season 4, I can see here is that Brooke was the one who let go of Lucas and turned to Chase and pushed Lucas to Peyton, since she know that Lucas is Peyton's savior, leaving her all alone. Now its happening again. Julian is Lucas. Alexander is Chase. Alex is Peyton. But the good part is that Julian and Alex are not Lucas and Peyton. Julian is loyal to Brooke and Alex is not her bestfriend who stole her boyfriend away because in the first place, Julian has never been and will never be Alex's. =D

Millie-Alex:
What a total freaking reverse of roles! hahaha! I loved Alex in her scenes with Millie. At first I kinda doubted her especially when she called Makena about a party and when she showed up unglamorous, that's when I figured out that she was after Millie and I love her for that. She didn't give up on her friend. Awh! She's so good. I'm loving Alex again and again. hahaha! But still Brooke is still my favorite character. hahaha! I'm also happy for Millie and her new job (Hope she doesn't screw that up now), Mouth coming back and I hope she and Brooke patch things up.

Baley:
Yayy! a BALEY moment! They are the real BFFs for me. (sorry, I really hate Peyton since I'm a big Brucas fan) I love their interactions and how they understand each other. Well, even though Peyton is my hatest character, I still miss her. Tree Hill has never been the same without Lucas and Peyton. I grew up with this series so you can't really take it away from me to not miss Lucas and Peyton. So there is a very happy feeling in me whenever I hear them being mentioned. It feels like they are just taking a break and in the future episodes they're going to be back. Anyway, after that long intro, my point is, in this entire episode Haley's line is my favorite... "Brooke, I know trust has always been hard for you, but Alex isn't Peyton and Julian is not Lucas..." awh. See? There is a very similar plot here! hahaha!

Quinn-Clay:
Last but not the least... my second favorite pair in OTH! hahaha! ever since they both started, I feel that they have the hots for each other and I love that Mark made a way for them to work out. Ah! They are soo sweet. What is up with me and hating blonde chicks (ehem PEYTON) paired with the OTH main guys... well, except for Jake... I'm a sucker for Jeyton. Anyway, going back to quinny and clay... They have this fairytale romance and I hope that it won't be crushed soon because of David and Taylor. I hope it would be stronger now that Quinn can finally move on from David since her ex is with her sister now. I'm excited with how Mark will move their characters and how they will grow in this series. Ah! I'm so excited. They are both very lovable characters and Shantel and Rob are great in playing them. Hahaha! I can't say anything mean about them or negative because I so love them! hahaha! I'm looking forward for their insane love! hahaha! I hope it won't go overboard-nanny carrie-psycho derek like! LOL!

Stars Falling From The Sky Episode 1

Brief Description (c/o Dramawiki):
The drama draws a love story between two co-workers at an insurance company, with Kim Ji Hoon playing the company’s whip-smart lawyer. Because he carries the hurt of having been abandoned by his birth mother, he doesn’t easily open his heart to others. The female lead is a 25-year-old employee of the company who becomes responsible for her five younger adopted siblings after her parents meet with sudden deaths.

-o-

Another Korean comedy drama to watch out for! hahaha! Episode 1 was crazy. Not really hilarious as Yamato Nadeshiko but CRAZY. Pal Kang, the lead, is such a crazy person. I can't help but laugh at her stupidity and selfishness. She's all out in impressing Kang Ha, a very selfish and rude lawyer for the insurance company that Pal Kang is working for. At the start, I was kind of... awh, it's okay for her to be this crazy since it's really a cliche but when the story progressed she's even ditching her family just to make herself feel beautiful and comfortable. It's just plain stupid and selfish. But I think it was a necessary step so that the story will be able to show how great her change was when her parents died. Personally, I can see Kim Jung Eun in Choi Jung Won. They even have angles where in they look alike. The first episode wasn't THE BOMB but I still want to watch it since I'm so addicted to all that cat-dog relationships between the lead characters even though I still have this fetish for the good guys. And Pal Kang's change might make me like this drama even more since its going to be more family centered and such.

The story itself is so twisted. I can't help but laugh at how Pal Kang became the granddaughter of the old man. What a fate! I just hope it turns out well. And the old man's daughter-in-law is giving the creeps. It's like she's an evil stepmother type. hahaha!

I also love seeing Jandi's (Boys Over Flowers) little brother! hahaha! It looks like Ji Bin has grown taller. Way to go little boy! hahaha! But he's so not little anymore. He's like the head of the house in this series since his big sister is such a crazy woman. hahaha! But still, I can feel that Pal Kang has a deep loving heart. I'll be looking forward to all her heart warming things to do for the kids and even for Kang Ha. ♥

Fighting Pal Kang! Aja!

Shining Inheritance Episode 1

I just finished watching the first episode of Shining Inheritance! yayy! I'm definitely going to finish this series. After Spring Waltz, I haven't really watched as much melodramatic korean series since it really aches my heart to watch them. But because of the reviews for SI, I came to conclude that this series is worth watching and worth crying over to. hahaha! I hope it is!

The first episode wasn't that awesome or what but I can see the substance of the story and I can feel like I am going to be amazed at how the broken pieces, like her father's fake death, Eun Sung and Hwan's twisted relationship, Eun Sung's stepmother and her materialistic evilness, will be put back together as the story progress. The actors were also able to relay to me their story. This is the first time I saw Lee Seung Ki in a role since the first time I saw him was in the variety show Strong Heart. I think it was easy for him to play the quiet and private side of Hwan but hard for the rebellious part since in Strong Heart, I saw him as this shy and good mannered type of guy. I hope he surprises me on how he's going to be the rebel in the story.

Hyo Joo is a great crier actress. She can easily cry and make her audience cry with her as well. It is rare for actresses to cry and still register a lovely face on screen. And she is able to do that with flying colors. In Spring Waltz, I think there was never an episode where she didn't cry so seeing her crying in SI is not really new but it just amazed me that she has improved a lot in crying and even on her funny and angry scenes, she was able to deliver them well.

All in all, I'm excited on how this story will unfold. I really don't want to know its ending so I really am avoiding reading its spoilers. Hahaha! I hope Eun Sung and Hwan get their fairytale ending since I can see that the story is patterned to Cinderella; with all the evil stepmom and stepsister. (LoL!)

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge Episode 1

Brief Description:
Blessed with good looks, Takano Kyohei, a college student, is always suffering from the unreasonable behavior of customers who want him and the sexual harassment of his store manager. Because of his hot temper, he loses his head on this occasion and is fired from his part-time job. Then one day, the glamorous owner, Ms. Nakahara proposes, “I’ll give you free board-and-lodging if you can turn my niece, Sunako, into a lady!” Kyohei and Toyama Yukinojo, Oda Takenaga and Morii Ranmaru, the other guys living together in the same boarding house, are enthusiastic, but the person who appears before the four of them is a spooky girl whose hair covers her face and who loves horror and vampires. And so, their tumultuous communal life begins... -Jdrama Weblog

One of my long awaited Live Action Series to watch! I really haven't watched the anime in full but when I was in Davao during the Christmas break, this was one of the anime series that kept me in front of the TV. When I found out in mysoju that Yamato Nadeshiko has live action and its first episode is already available, I immediately started watching it. Well, its still the first episode and as I'm writing now, I know that episode 2 is currently being shown in Japan now. Since its being shown in TBS, Fridays 10:00pm (Well, Japan and Philippines has almost the same timeline =D) .

I really love the plot of this series and I can feel that TBS has another big hit. The actors were able to deliver their characters well. I am starting to have a crush on Hiroki Uchi, playing Takenaga. He's so cute! Well, no offense to the guy playing Kyohei, but in terms of looks I think Hiroki is fit for the role since he's the most handsome of the four guys. Oh well, I still love Kyohei's role even if its not Hiroki. Hahaha!

The first episode really made me laugh out loud. Thanks to Sunako! hahaha! The child playing Takeru is so cute! I would want to keep him for myself! hahaha! If Sunako wants skeletons in her closet, I would really want Takeru in mine hahaha! I love the kid, he's so cute and witty! I'm going to look forward for more of his anti-Kyohei antics hahaha!

Well, Takeru's mom is one heck of a great actress, from crying because of her husband's death to being Sunako's crazy aunt, I can't help but salute her for a job well done. Okay, I'm praising everything about this series! hahaha! The other two beautiful guys are also great but I really find the guy playing Ranmaru, gay-ish! hahaha! But I think that's just how Japanese portray the cassanovas of their country, I just have this notion that cassanovas are less feminine. But I love how he was able to transform Sunako to a lady and tried to kiss her. That was a laugh out loud moment for me.

Yokinojo is also cute. But he looks best as a girl! I love his face and outfit at the bar when the boys except Kyohei acted as girls.

The downside that I noticed was that, it was so fast paced and it felt like they put a thousand story arcs in one episode. But it was still hilarious. I love the episode and will totally watch it up to the end. I'll also be keeping eye on more Kyohei and Sunako scenes! hahaha!♥

The best scenes for me in episode 1 are:
- Sunako's arrival: it was freaking hilarious! I can't forget everyone's expression when she appeared in front of the glass door. And when the lights went out, it kind of signaled her arrival and that really excite me because it just shows how they value Sunako's supposed to be 'ugliness'.

-Sunako's bedroom: i like the way they designed or arranged the room. It showed how Sunako really love scary stuff. Her bestfriends (the mannequins) really resembled the ones in the anime which is a plus for me. And the coffin, i love love love it! hahaha! It gave Yokinojo the goosebumps!

-Sunako and Kyohei Scenes: I'm a sucker for love stories and their scenes definitely gave me the chills, sweet chills. hahaha! Infairness, they have chemistry. I love the scene when Sunako thanked Kyohei and Kyohei in turn gave her the box of koala cookies.

All in all, I LOVE THIS AND WILL CONTINUE TO WATCH THIS! I can't wait for the future episode! Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge ROCKS!♥

Reminiscing You're Beautiful

I just finished the Korean Series You're Beautiful, starring Park Shin Ye and Jang Geun Suk, last weekend. OMG! Aside from Boys Over Flowers, it must be the best series of 2009! The plot was light and funny but also has power and substance at the same time. It may be a little overboard on the reality part since I really don't think someone can pull of a disguise like Go Mi Nam that long but all in all, I still can truly say, it's one of my favorite series to date now.

It's a musical at the same time. AN Jell, the series' fictional band, composed of Shin Ye, Geun Suk, Lee Hong Ki and Jung Yong Hwa, gave beautiful music to my ears. I love musicals. Period. The soundtrack still give me chills each time I hear their songs since I get to reminisce my favorite Tae Kyung and Mi Nam scenes and even wonder if Shin Woo Oppa was given the chance to show his love, would they have ended up together? Gah! I'm such a sucker for the good guys.

Pig rabbit. Stars. Tea. Pogs. Jolie. These are going to be the words that will stay with me forever and make me remember the good times that YB brought me. The dark will always remind me of Hwang Tae Kyung's night blindness. The magical bus will let me hear Jeremy's sad song over and over again. And teas are going to bring a smile to my face as I get to imagine Shinwoo-oppa offering it to me. Awh. If given the time, I will watch this over and over again. It's just so sad it ended at 16 episodes.

It was a bittersweet ending for me. Bitter for Shinwoo's broken heart but sweet for Tae Kyung and Min Yu's happy ending. I couldn't ask for more actually. It ended well. Oh what the heck! I wanted a wedding scene! I wanted to see this:

It would have been nice to see them at their wedding after Min Yu's travel to Africa. And see He Yi's dismayed face! ha! (UEE was a great villain! I love her and hate her at the same time! hahaha!)

I love the concert scene even though only Tae Kyung get to sing. It reminded me of Jang Geun Suk's Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do Movie. I would have loved it more if Shinwoo and Jeremy and the real Go Mi Nam get to perform! =) I was also hoping for a brother-sister bonding. I thought they would have atleast faked a Minam-Minyu convo or what just to show their sibling love but... oh well. What's done is done. Let's just hope that Manager Ma and Coordinator get to have lots of babies and Jeremy and Shinwoo get their own girls hahaha!

I would love an AN Jell reunion! That's why seeing their SBS Drama Awards performance over and over again gives me goosebumps over and over again too. AN Jell Hwaiting! Awh. I'll rerun this series for sure in the future and for sure I'll get to feel the same way about it as I have now.

AN Jell ROCKS!
